Ritchie Industries is pleased to announce the launch of the Omni 10 waterer, which joins the popular line-up of OmniFounts. Customers have long requested a new, large capacity waterer since the popular Cattle Fountain 10 was phased out in 2005.
The newest unit features an all-around drinking area. Like other members of the OmniFount family, it has a 304 stainless steel trough with heat elements attached to the underside for excellent frost-free service under the most severe winter conditions. The body of the Omni 10 is made from Ritchie’s heavy-duty polyethylene construction. The fountain is insulated with highly energy efficient polyurethane foam, providing at least an R-value of 14.
Its large trough, which holds 28 gallons of water, has an animal capacity of 275 head of cattle and 135 head of dairy.

The best of both worlds, Omni Fount blends technology from both our traditional stainless steel units and our newest poly units to provide the premier livestock fountain. Omni's stainless steel trough features heat elements attached to the underside for frost free service even under the most severe winter conditions. The trough carries a 10 year 100% warranty against manufacturing defect or corrosion.
The body of the Omni Fount is made from our heavy-duty polyethylene construction, fully insulated with polyurethane foam, providing an R-factor of 7 per inch. This makes it highly energy efficient. In fact, it is so energy efficient, some power companies offer rebates on the purchase of this fountain. Like all our poly products, the Omni Fount body carries a five + five warranty, five years 100%, five years prorated against manufacturing defect.
Please contact your local power company regarding rebates available and which units qualify.

We've taken all we've learned over the years and put the top value, best performance, easiest operation and maintenance in the WaterMatic Family.
The 100 is our smallest poly fountain with a single trough. The 150, 150S and 300 have two troughs, either one or both can easily be closed off simply by changing the position of a drain plug. The 1000 has a 13 foot perimeter, and an all around drink area.
The WaterMatic Family features Ritchie's drop-in cover design, with the ease of finger lift service, and the insulation of the patented water seal. The 150S features a unique domed cover to help prevent standing and climbing. All surfaces slope to the drains for easy clean out. Drain plugs can be moved to the valve chamber openings for short-term trough shut-off during cleaning, when your pen is empty, during excessively cold nights, or when you don't want your animals drinking.

A popular choice in feedlots, pastures, and dairies all across North America, the WaterMaster Series features a heavy one-piece polyethylene body that holds up even under the weight of cattle hooves. The trough slopes to a large drain, and can be emptied, cleaned, and refilled in a fraction of the time other waterers take to empty. WaterMaster requires 75% less energy in the winter than concrete units. And, the WaterMaster won't pit or cause cleaning problems. Is it any wonder we back up the WaterMaster with a Five Plus Five warranty?

The new generation of CattleMaster fountains provide the best of both worlds: blending technology from traditional stainless steel units and the newest poly units, to provide a premier livestock fountain. They feature the same reliable heating features as previous CattleMaster models and have a refill rate of 20 gallons per minute at 50 psi.
The casings of the CattleMaster 480, 840, 1440 are made from Ritchie's heavy-duty, impact resistant polyethylene construction. The roto-molded construction is heavily insulated for energy efficiency and employes UV inhibitors for extended life.

The Ritchie Cattle Fountain Series features rapid refill valves to keep the water flowing fresh and clean, even when demand is at its heaviest. These are the units you still see in the field today after several years of service. At every trade show we do we hear about a 30+ year old unit still in service.

Thrifty King insulates the water so well that you can make it through the winter without supplying heat in many areas, and it takes little electricity in those areas where the winter is severe. The water is completely surrounded by fully insulated polyethylene plastic - even the floats are insulated. In summer, the water is cooler and covered water protects against mosquitoes breeding, lowering the risk of spreading West Nile Virus. The most important factor to remember when sizing an energy free unit is to make sure that you have a minimum of ten animals per drinking hole to keep them frost free during the winter months.
Ritchie offers two wall mounted fountains. The Standard Stall Fount delivers fresh clean water to your horse using Ritchie's time proven valve for rapid refill. If you need freeze protection for your water, choose the Stall Fount 125, which adds a 125 watt trough heater, supply line heat cable, and insulated shroud to protect your fount and supply line from freezing. (If you wish, you may add the supply line shroud to your Standard Stall Fount.)

Permanently protect your vertical water supply line from freezing. Ritchie Thermal Tubes provides TWO INCHES of insulation all around with an r-Factor of 7 per inch. Thermal tubes are buried in the ground beneath your automatic waterer. Contrary to beliefs they are not heat tubes, the heat will not rise in the tube below the ground keeping your waterers from freezing. As warmer air rises from the lower part of the tube it will lose heat and become the same temperature as the air at the top of the tube. The thermal tubes are designed to keep the frost in the ground from reaching the supply line, therefore it is imperative that the supply line does not touch any portion of the inside of the thermal tubes.
Available in 1 foot, 2 foot, and 4 foot sections, and fit together to make longer lengths, check with a local plumber in your area to find out the deepest depth of frost.

It is not the size of the cattle that determines the size of the waterer, it is the number of cattle that use the waterer that determines the size of the waterer needed.
In this page you will find all of the Ritchie Automatic water fountains available. Click on any of the photos and you will be redirected to the www.ritchiefount.com site where you will be able to find more detailed specifics regarding each of the units.
